Conscious Dance – Dancing Freedom

August 23 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

$40

Dancing Freedom is a conscious movement practice rooted in embodiment, expression, and connection. This is not choreography — it’s an invitation to move from the inside out and let your body lead.

The dance begins with a gentle warm-up and opening circle before moving through a guided, music-driven journey inspired by the elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether.

Through these elemental waves, participants are invited to explore grounding, flow, power, lightness, and spaciousness — releasing what no longer serves and awakening vitality, joy, and presence.

The experience concludes with a brief reflection, a paired witness dance, and a closing circle, allowing space for integration and connection.

What to expect:
• A welcoming, non-judgmental space
• Guided elemental movement journey
• Music, expression, and embodied release
• Integration and reflection
• Community connection

No dance experience is needed. This practice is for everybody — honoring your own pace, boundaries, and expression.

Move what needs to move. Reconnect with your body. Come home to yourself.

This event is offered on Sunday, August 23rd from 2:00-3:30pm (EST)

Shannon KilbournInstructor: Shannon Kilbourn is a breathwork facilitator, somatic coach, and conscious dance guide who supports individuals in reconnecting with their bodies, emotions, and inner wisdom through embodied, nervous-system-aware practices.

Her work is grounded in compassion, presence, and deep respect for each person’s lived experience. Drawing from breathwork, somatic awareness, conscious movement, and elemental wisdom, Shannon creates spaces where people feel safe to soften, release, and explore what’s alive within them.

As a highly sensitive person herself, Shannon understands overwhelm, burnout, and disconnection — and brings a gentle, attuned approach to every class she facilitates. Her sessions are trauma-aware, non-forceful, and deeply supportive, inviting participants to listen to their bodies and move at their own pace.

Shannon’s intention is simple and profound: to create welcoming spaces where all parts of you are allowed, where the body is honored as wise, and where healing unfolds naturally through breath, movement, and presence.
