Learn to be the compassionate advocate your younger self always needed.
Most of us were never taught how to truly process emotions. Instead, we learned ways to manage them—through positive thinking, reassurance, suppression, self-criticism, or minimizing what we feel. While these strategies often developed to protect us, they can also keep us disconnected from deeper needs underneath our emotional experiences.
In this workshop, we’ll bring awareness to the subconscious ways we manage our emotions. Rather than judging these patterns, we’ll learn to approach them with curiosity and compassion and practice holding space with heavy discomfort.
You will learn a new approach to emotional processing, Somatic IFS, which you can apply to your daily life. Through it, you’ll learn how to become a compassionate caretaker for your emotional world, your nervous system, and the younger parts of yourself that may not have received the understanding and support they needed.
This event is offered on Sunday, July 12th from 12:30-2:30pm (EST)
