SUMMARY:Shamanic Healing Circle
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a transformative afternoon of healing using cross-cultural shamanic techniques. We will first work together to create sacred space and honor nature as our guide. We will then identify our individual and collective intentions for our time together. Participants will meet a spirit guide and be channeled through a meditative shamanic journey relevant to the season. The beat of the drum acts as the heartbeat of the universe during the shamanic journey. \nAfter the journey you will be asked to reflect on your experience through journaling\, meditating\, or sharing your thoughts and feelings. You will have an opportunity to receive compassionate healing energy as directed by the facilitator. \nShamanic techniques have been used for thousands of years to help people develop clarity\, receive guidance\, and heal from past traumas. The drum is an effective tool in merging consciousness with spirit to help achieve these goals. The meditative state of the journey creates a sense of peace and harmony that can relieve stress and heavy energy. Support from the group and spirit guides offer comfort\, connection\, and insight. \nThis event is offered on Sunday\, December 21st from 3:30-5:00pm (EST)\n

Together\, we’ll create sacred space to turn inward\, release what no longer serves\, and welcome the year ahead with clarity and open hearts. \nOur evening begins with ceremonial-grade cacao\, a revered plant medicine known for its ability to expand the heart and deepen connection. Whether this is your first cacao ceremony or a beloved ritual\, you’ll be guided to open your senses\, connect with others\, and feel the gentle power of cacao’s energetic embrace. This rich\, warm elixir\, steeped in tradition\, supports mental clarity\, enhances circulation\, boosts immunity\, and nurtures the soul. Bring your favorite mug or use one of our eco-friendly cups provided. \nWhile sipping cacao\, you’ll be invited to set personal intentions for the year ahead. Angel oracle cards will offer inspiration\, and each participant will receive inspiring words that will bring deeper insight and guidance. \nWe’ll then transition into a deeply restorative sound bath\, with the resonant tones of 432 Hz Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls washing over you. These healing vibrations help dissolve tension\, clear stagnant energy\, and create a state of peace and harmony. You may rest\, meditate\, or even sway gently\, allowing both the cacao and sound to weave their magic. \nPlease bring a yoga mat\, blanket\, pillow\, or anything that helps you feel comfortable. We will also have chairs\, blankets\, and mats available for use. \nLet’s come together to honor the closing of 2025\, release the old\, and step into the new year feeling refreshed\, connected\, and inspired. \nThis event is offered on Saturday\, December 27th from 6:00-7:15pm (EST) \nSign Me Up \nInstructor: Crissy Hester’s immense training in a wide range of healing modalities\, along with her warm sense of humor\, extensive life experience\, and sincere passion to serve and empower others creates a truly one-of-a-kind healing experience. She offers a powerful yet gentle approach to spiritual awakening\, healing\, and manifesting by drawing on her intuition and vast understanding of ancient mystical traditions\, holistic health\, energy work\, and universal laws. \nAs an ordained minister\, Crissy has practiced for over a decade as a mindfulness meditation instructor\, life coach\, metaphysical teacher\, and energy healer. Crissy is a Traditional Usui Reiki Master\, with a variety of other certifications\, including life coaching and sound healing. She delights in making the connections between science and spirituality and incorporates them in her practice. She is a powerful intuitive and has a deep understanding as it relates to chakras and auras\, cutting cords\, past life regression. \nCrissy has served as a practitioner at The Open Mind Center since 2015 and in the Atlanta area since 2012. She also brings over 10 years of prior experience from her roles in coaching\, supervising teams\, and developing training programs in the corporate world.
