SUMMARY:Shamanic Healing Circle
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a transformative afternoon of healing using cross-cultural shamanic techniques. We will first work together to create sacred space and honor nature as our guide. We will then identify our individual and collective intentions for our time together. Participants will meet a spirit guide and be channeled through a meditative shamanic journey relevant to the season. The beat of the drum acts as the heartbeat of the universe during the shamanic journey. \nAfter the journey you will be asked to reflect on your experience through journaling\, meditating\, or sharing your thoughts and feelings. You will have an opportunity to receive compassionate healing energy as directed by the facilitator. \nShamanic techniques have been used for thousands of years to help people develop clarity\, receive guidance\, and heal from past traumas. The drum is an effective tool in merging consciousness with spirit to help achieve these goals. The meditative state of the journey creates a sense of peace and harmony that can relieve stress and heavy energy. Support from the group and spirit guides offer comfort\, connection\, and insight. \nThis event is offered on Sunday\, May 3rd from 3:30-5:00pm (EST)\n \nSign Up Here\n  \nInstructor: Lisa celebrates the divine light that exists in everything by honoring natural rhythms and earth medicines. She is a PhD\, an ordained pagan minister and shamanic practitioner with over 20 years of experience conducting seasonal rituals\, facilitating group classes\, and offering individual healing sessions. She has studied with notable teachers from the Eagle Condor Council\, Pachakuti Mesa Tradition\, Harner Foundation for Shamanic Studies\, and her own spirit guides. \nLisa is an empath and intuitive who believes that all life experiences are opportunities for growth and learning. She works with clients to help them move from a place of fear and stagnation to a place of love\, gratitude\, respect\, and awareness. Lisa has been described as a natural healer with a keen sense of energetic imbalances that cause distress and discomfort. Her ultimate goal is to clear those imbalances to expand and awaken compassionate inner wisdom.

Each month we discuss different topics based on the group’s interest like trusting your intuition\, boundary setting\, belonging\, mind- body connection\, triggers\, spirituality\, somatic healing\, wellness and much more. Each session will include information resource sharing\, reflective exercises and group discussions related to the topic. As we sip this sacred medicine together\, we enter a subtle energetic portal\, a space where the heart can expand and the Divine Feminine energy of love\, intuition\, and nourishment begins to rise. \nSupported by the soothing vibrations of crystal sound bowls and other sacred instruments\, the body and nervous system are invited to relax and receive. She offers a powerful yet gentle approach to spiritual awakening\, healing\, and manifesting by drawing on her intuition and vast understanding of ancient mystical traditions\, holistic health\, energy work\, and universal laws.  \nAs an ordained minister\, Crissy has practiced for over a decade as a mindfulness meditation instructor\, life coach\, metaphysical teacher\, and energy healer. Crissy is a Traditional Usui Reiki Master\, with a variety of other certifications\, including life coaching and sound healing. She delights in making the connections between science and spirituality and incorporates them in her practice. She is a powerful intuitive and has a deep understanding as it relates to chakras and auras\, cutting cords\, past life regression. \nCrissy has served as a practitioner at The Open Mind Center since 2015 and in the Atlanta area since 2012. With over 25 years of experience as a video editor\, Jason has honed a keen sense of timing\, rhythm\, and flow\, which he brings into every sound bath and healing session. \nA masterful facilitator of crystal singing bowls\, Jason guides participants through deeply immersive sound journeys designed to relax the nervous system\, release energetic blocks\, and expand consciousness.
