When was the last time you allowed yourself to just be? With constant stress so prevalent in our daily lives it’s easy to forget we are human beings and not human doings. When we are stressed, we tend to not be present in the moment. We become unable to enjoy and savor our life or connect with the people around us. Studies continuously show the benefits of mindfulness meditation to dramatically reduce stress and stress related disease. When we are mindful, we are present in our lives, no longer feeling distracted or wishing for things to be different. We can be at ease no matter where we are or what is going on. It allows us to cultivate a deeper connection with ourselves and with those around us. Join us for an hour of guided meditation as we develop our mindfulness practice by maintaining a moment-to-moment relaxed awareness of our surrounding environment, bodily sensations, thoughts and emotions. Make friends with your heart and mind… and simply be. All practice levels welcome and supported.
