Acupressure is an ancient practice of traditional Chinese medicine that involves the tactile stimulation of the acupoints. The purpose of acupressure is to unblock and balance the circulation of the Qi. By stimulating specific acupoints through the pressure of our fingers it generates a healing response within the body.
In this workshop, you will learn what acupressure is and how it works. You will use acupressure to stimulate the energy channels and acupoints. You will find points of frequent use, their location and their purpose. You will learn techniques of stimulation or sedation (Rou – Tui). You will understand the mechanics of harmonization with acupressure; and, you will have the opportunity to practice your new acquired knowledge.
Pre-requisite for this workshop: “Energy (QI), The Energy Channels” or prior knowledge of energy channels and acupoints.
