Try It! You Just Might Like It.

The word “Yoga” can connote different meanings to different people. For some people, yoga is a purely, physical pursuit. It’s a good way to keep the body toned, strong, and flexible. For others, yoga is a state of being. It is a mindset and a way of living. It is tied to your spiritual practice and your aspirations can lead you in the direction of the yogis. In addition, some people may not be exactly certain of what Yoga is. They want to investigate. Whatever your reason for getting into the practice, however, or your level of experience, we at The Open Mind Center welcome you to join us for one of many yoga classes.

If you have any interest in trying it out for the first time, or continuing yoga at The Open Mind Center, then you are in luck. Everyone can practice yoga! There’s a place for you in our classes, regardless of age, experience, or level of flexibility. We know that we can all benefit from yoga. It will keep us “mentally flexible.” It will keep you healthy.

Research shows that yoga helps people to be able to manage and control their anxiety, arthritis, asthma, back pain, blood pressure, carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic fatigue, depression, diabetes, epilepsy, headaches, heart disease, multiple sclerosis, stress, and other illnesses.

The Open Mind Center offers a variety of active and meditative yoga classes to help bring balance to your day. These included classes such as Gentle Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Beginners Hatha Flow Yoga, Hatha Flow Yoga, and even Yoga for Kids. They all range in skillset and level of difficulty. They also have different purposes. Find the one that is right for you.

Yoga, like life, is about finding bliss and serenity in the moment. Come on in, relax and learn to “Celebrate You” with yoga.
