Reiki

Reiki is both a spiritual practice and healing modality as it focuses on moving the universal life energy to support a healthy body, mind, and spirit. It is an ancient Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation founded by Mikao Usui. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words, Rei, which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and Ki, which is “life force energy”. So Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. It uses hands and touch to encourage that force to flow freely. If you have any energetic imbalances or blockages due to stress, trauma, anger, fear, or illness, Reiki can help. It is effective for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.

After receiving Reiki, a person will be more balanced. This balance allows the person to be in better health. Reiki can be the solution to many physical dysfunctions, like the large intestines, the bones, the feet, skin problems and the teeth. A person who receives Reiki will be grounded and in touch with their body. Their upper chakra is stimulated, producing an increase in imaginative thoughts, wiser thoughts, and a facilitation of a more personal connection between you and the spirit. You can even help fight the addictive qualities of drinking, overeating, and gambling by receiving Reiki.
